Jaipur: In support of the demands of the wife of the driver of the container accident in Rajasthan, Rajya Sabha member of the opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Kirori Lal Meena along with the family members of the victim (Kirori Lal Meena) staged a sit-in in the lawn of the house of the Minister of State, Rajendra Gudha. The day continued.
It is noteworthy that Ram Niwas died in the accident of a container carrying the Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (REET) paper. Meena has been sitting on a dharna on the lawn of Minister of State Gudha’s official residence here since Friday afternoon over other demands including financial assistance to Manisha, wife of Ram Niwas. Meena said, “I am on a dharna at the minister’s residence along with Manish Jat, who has been suffering for the last three days, demanding justice, but the Ashok Gehlot government is adamant on dogma.

Tagging the Prime Minister’s Office and the National Commission for Women, Meena tweeted, “It is necessary that the government should give up its insistence and give justice to the victim Jat. I will not leave the dharna till they get justice” in a video released on the tweet. He said that the Reet paper leak case has become a Mahabharata. He said that Minister Shanti Dhariwal is speaking on behalf of Kauravas and Rajendra Rathod of BJP is speaking on behalf of Pandavas.
He said that it is well known that Pandavas had won in Mahabharata and untruth was defeated. Truth was won. BJP is fighting for truth. He said that truth can be disturbed but cannot be defeated. Meanwhile, on Sunday, Rajasthan Unemployed Federation President Upen Yadav went to the protest site and met the victim Manish Jat and his family, demanding job and justice to Manish Jat from the government.
Earlier, the BJP MP told reporters that till now no initiative has been taken by the state government. Meena said that on the first day talks were held with Minister of State Gudha and top officials of the government but no initiative was taken from the government side. He said that we will not rise from the dharna until the government accepts the demand letter we have presented. (agency)
