Pune: The accused had kidnapped him and kept him hidden in Pune in order to get 50 lakh or 5 acres of land in his name instead of borrowing money at ten percent interest, but the Pune Police has rescued him. It is learned that seven people had thrashed him. It also includes a cop of the city police. Due to this there has been a stir in the city. On producing the accused in the court, the court sent them to police custody till December 21.
The names of the accused are Laxman Hagwane (33), Kiran Sopan Bhillare (35), Vishal Anil Jagtap (22), Sandeep Chandrakant Pokharkar (24), Abhijit Dattatray Deshmukh (30), Manoj Dnyaneshwar Bhargude (32). Ranjit alias Baju Paygude is still absconding. The police is searching for him. Nitin Kailash Pawar (33) has lodged a complaint with the Shirur police station.

Bhargude is a police constable at the Pune Police Headquarters. The complainant had borrowed a total of Rs 15 lakh from Anil Hagwane in March 2018 at the rate of 10 per cent interest per month for carrying on the business. He had corrected 500 rupees on blank stamp paper, as well as gave blank checks of 5 banks. The complainant has paid interest of Rs 10 lakh 50 thousand. So he also took 9 lakh rupees from Kiran Bhilare. In return for that, till now 60 thousand rupees were given as interest. Hagwane and Bhilare demanded Rs 50 lakh as principal and interest.
Pressure made to give 5 acres of land
On non-payment of money, pressure was made to write 5 acres of land. Failure to do so threatened to kill the wife and child. On Friday, in the name of bringing Kiran Bhilare’s car, the accused forcibly called the complainant from home and made him sit in the car. It was hidden in a shed of letters. This information was received by Ramesh Chaudhar and Amar Pawar, personnel of Anti-Ransom Squad I. After that, under the guidance of Assistant Commissioner Gajanan Tompe, Assistant Inspector Sandeep Buva and his squad laid a trap and arrested them six people and rescued the complainant.
