New Delhi. According to the big news of the afternoon, now a controversy seems to be increasing regarding the posters of Hindu organizations on the Ganga Ghats of Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh. Yes, if the news is to be believed, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal activists have warned non-Hindus by putting up some posters on the ghats of Kashi. These organizations have clearly forbidden such people from coming to these ghats.
At the same time, according to another information, apart from the Ganga Ghats of Kashi, there are plans to put up similar posters in more temples. At present, the police is refraining from speaking anything on the matter. However, it is necessary that the police is working hard to remove these posters.
On this matter, Bajrang Dal says that, through these posters, a ‘clear’ and direct message has been given to those who consider the ghat to be a ‘picnic spot’. The organization said that, “We are warning them to stay away from the ghats of the Ganges, as it is not a picnic spot but a symbol of ‘Sanatan’ culture.”
On the other hand, VHP city secretary Rajan Gupta said that those who do not have any respect for Sanatan Dharma, they should not come to the ghats and temples at all. He further added, “If they respect Sanatan Dharma then we will also welcome them.” The poster states that “this is not to be considered a request but a warning”.
Readers be aware that every year a large number of foreign tourists visit Varanasi and spend hours at the ghats interacting with the local people. Along with this, they also take interest in photography here.
