According to reports, the IT team has recovered more than Rs 160 crore from the house of perfume trader Piyush Jain, who lives in Anandpuri under Juhi police station area of Kanpur. It is alleged on Piyush Jain that the company evaded GST worth crores of rupees by making bills in the name of many fake firms. Along with this, more than 200 fake invoices and e-way bills have been found from Piyush’s house. In Piyush Jain’s house, the Income Tax and GST Department has ordered more than 12 boxes so that crores of rupees can be kept in them. So far 6 machines have been installed to count these money and there are PACs from banks and police forces are also present on the spot.
Here Samajwadi Party has denied relations with Piyush Jain. SP’s media consultant Ashish Yadav tweeted in this regard that SP has nothing to do with the raids in the houses of Kanpur businessman. Also, the said businessman has no relation with socialist perfumers and socialists.
