Job Vacancies In Telangana: There is good news for the youth of Telangana who are planning to do government jobs. The ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) government in the state headed by Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has invited applications for 80,039 posts. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Wednesday announced to start the immediate recruitment process for 80,039 vacant posts in the state government.
Rao told the assembly that there are 91,142 vacant posts of direct recruitment in the state. He said that the services of 11,103 contractual employees working on vacant posts of direct recruitment would be regularised. He said that the recruitment process for the remaining vacancies of 80,039 would be started immediately.
Rao said that all the vacancies would be identified in advance and an annual calendar for the recruitments would be published. The CM said that the notifications would be issued with sufficient time interval.
In addition, Rao has increased the upper age limit for all direct recruits by 10 years. That is, the maximum age limit for recruitment in OC will be 44, while that of SC, ST and BC will be 49 and that of PWD will be 54 years.

Rao mentioned that his government would soon notify 503 Group I, 582 Group II, 1,373 Group III and 9,168 Group IV posts. He further said that the cadre-wise division of vacancies would be 39,829 (District), 18,866 (Zonal), 13,170 (Multi-Zonal) and 8,147 (Secretariat, Head of Department, University).
Under the department-wise division of vacancies, there are 18,334 vacancies in home, 13,086 in secondary education, 12,755 in health, medical and family welfare and 7,878 in higher education. There are 3,560 vacant posts in Revenue Department, 4,311 vacancies are available in Backward Classes Welfare.
The CM informed that for environment, there are 1,598 vacant posts in Forest, Science and Technology Department, while Panchayat Raj and Rural Development and Labor and Employment Department have 1,455 and 1,221 vacancies respectively.
Meanwhile, there are 1,146 vacancies in Finance Department, 801 in Agriculture and Cooperation, 563 in Transport, Roads and Building Department, while Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Law have 386 and 353 vacancies respectively. Whereas at least 16 posts are lying vacant in the Energy Department.
