IRCTC/Indian Railways: Indian Railways is running many trains keeping in mind the festive season. Keeping in mind the Diwali and Chhath Puja, 110 special trains are being run. Indian Railways has run many trains to connect the major stations of the country. The special thing is that these 110 special trains will take 668 trips during the festival season.
The railways had made all these preparations during Durga Puja. Now major festivals are approaching in November and most of the people go to their respective homes to celebrate the festival which increases the burden on the passengers on major routes during that time. Railways will run special trains till the major festivals including Diwali and Chhath Puja.
Northern Railway is running maximum 26 trains, 26 trains of Northern Railway will make 312 trips. According to the Ministry of Railways, for the convenience of railway passengers and to clear the extra rush of passengers during this festive season, the Railways has made special arrangements. Indian Railways will run 668 rounds of 110 special trains from Durga Puja to Chhath Puja this year. It is also increasing the number of coaches to increase the availability of berths during festive rush.

WCR – 12 trains and 26 trips
RPF personnel will keep an eye on arranging passengers in line in unreserved coaches to avoid crowding at stations during festivals. Will also do the work of putting passengers in line.
