New Delhi: A 23-year-old youth trapped in the fault line of Kurambachi hill in Palakkad, Kerala has been safely rescued by the Indian Army. With this, the Indian Army has again shown its pride. Actually, the young man who went on the trek was stuck there for the last 45 hours.
It is to be known that the Indian Army has safely pulled out a 23-year-old youth trapped in the middle of the hill. The youth trapped in the hill, R Babu, a resident of Cheradu in Malampuzha, fell into a crevice on Monday afternoon while descending from the nearby Kurumbachi hills at Elachiram in Kerala’s Palakkad district. After this case, Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan had sought help from the Indian Army to save the youth.

It should be noted that when this incident happened, three of his friends were also present with that person. Earlier last night, two army officers, two JCOs and five other constables had reached the spot from Wellington to save the youth. The Chetak helicopter could not complete the operation due to bad weather. After which the army sent another mountaineering team from Bangalore to Sulur for Malampuzha.
