Amravati. The Government Vidarbha Gyan Vigyan Sansthan (VMV), which has research facilities along with higher education, is moving towards its centenary year. On this festival, necessary funds are being provided by the government for the development of research and study facilities here. To make these works quality, the District Collector Pavneet Kaur gave instructions for proper planning. He took stock of the proposed work by visiting the Vimvi organization on Wednesday.

Collector Kaur visited various places in the Institute campus like Sangeet Surya Keshavrao Bhosale Theater, Restaurant, Ground, Hostel, Laboratory, Yoga Bhawan etc. and inquired about the planned development works. At this time SDO Udai Singh Rajput, Tehsildar Santosh Kakade, Society Director Dr. Anjali Deshmukh, Dr. Shivanand Kumar, Dr. Srikrishna Yavale, Vishakha Savji, Jayant Chaudhary, Santosh Pawar etc. were present. The VMV institute has got autonomy and separate arrangements will be made for the examinations.
Under which there is a plan to construct a separate building for the examination department. Funds will be provided to the institution according to the plan for the theatre, dormitories, repair of old buildings, necessary construction, modernization of the laboratory of the British era. Every work should be of quality, no work remains unfinished, to ensure that a complete proposal with necessary equipments is directed to be submitted by the District Magistrate.
Centenary Year of the Institute
VMV institution has completed 100 years in the year 2022-23. Due to this, various programs will be implemented from July. Various works have been planned for the development work in the institute with an amount of Rs.4 crore for the current year and Rs.6 crore for 2022-23.
About 75 percent students of the institute have been vaccinated. Collector instructed to complete it 100 percent. Preparations have been made in conjunction with the COVID Care Center in a building located on the VMV campus. The collector also inspected it.
