Two corona patients were found on Sunday. On Monday their number increased to 7 and on Tuesday it increased to 12 and today on Wednesday 31 corona patients have been found in the district and one patient has died during this period. The increasing cases of coron are alarm bells.
In view of the increasing cases of Corona, the Guardian Minister visited Chandrapur District General Hospital and took stock of the situation here, while MLA Sudhir Mungantiwar also took an online meeting with the officials and inquired about the situation.
By the end of December, the corona was completely under control, but with the increasing Omicron cases in the country, the third wave of COVID 19, where on one hand, Chandrapur district has also remained untouched by raising its head across the country. However, not a single Omicron patient has been found here so far. But the patients of COVID 19 are increasing rapidly.
If we look at the data received from the Health Department today, 24 new patients have been found in Chandrapur city alone. On Tuesday, 8 patients were found. In this view, the number of patients has increased three times in just 24 hours. Apart from Chandrapur, two patients were found in Ballarpur, Rajura and one in Chandrapur tehsil, one in Bhadravati and one in Chimur.
Whereas this area was considered completely safe for the last five months due to a single corona patient. On Wednesday, there is a matter of relief in other places including Bramhapuri, Nagbhid, Sindewahi, Mool, Savali, Pombhurna, Gondpipri, Warora, Korpana, Jivati. Today a woman from Chandrapur, a patient who died from Corona, is included.
A total of 88 thousand 944 patients have been found so far in the district. Out of which 87 thousand 339 have got freedom from Corona. The active patients of Corona have become 60 today as compared to 30 on Tuesday. In this way the number of active patients has doubled. So far 8 lakh 3 thousand 406 samples have been tested. Out of these, 7 lakh 13 thousand 50 samples were found negative. So far 1545 people have died due to corona in the district.
