The farmers allege that for the last 10 years, that is, more than 2012, electricity bills are being sent to them. Despite applying to reduce the electricity bill, the electricity board is not listening to them. Due to non-approval of the application, the farmers here are not able to participate in the waiver scheme. Meanwhile, the electricity board is cutting the electricity of the farmers of the village for the last 3 days. Angered by this, the farmers started the agitation by climbing the high tension tower passing through the village. After getting information about this incident, the entire Syed Pimpri village reached under this tower.

After getting information about the incident, Shiv Sena MP Hemant Godse and BJP MLA Devyani Farande reached the spot and held talks with the officials. After this, Ghodke, the executive engineer of the Electricity Board, informed about the receipt of 50 applications from the village and said that the Electricity Board is working on it. But to join the electricity waiver scheme of the state government, it is necessary to deposit 50% of the amount. Farmers are not depositing this amount. For this reason, he informed about not getting benefits to these farmers.
Injustice has been done to the farmers by cutting off the power without giving any prior information. Improve the electricity bill under the agriculture law of Mahavitaran year 2022.
