Lucknow: Within hours of releasing the BJP’s election manifesto, the Samajwadi Party (SP) retaliated. While releasing its manifesto, SP has put a slew of gifts including loan waiver, free distribution, jobs. Releasing his election manifesto in the capital on Tuesday, hours after the BJP released the Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav said that if his government is formed, all small and marginal Farmers will be given two bags of DAP fertilizer and five bags of urea. On the lines of BJP, he has also promised two free cylinders a year to all Below Poverty Line (BPL) families.
He said that if the Samajwadi government is formed, all the farmers of the state would be made debt free by 2025. In response to the promises made by the Congress and the BJP regarding women, the SP has spoken of 33 percent reservation for them in all jobs if the government is formed. Workers in the unorganized sector, including weavers, zardozi artisans, carpenters, barbers, cobblers, tailors and boatmen, will be given an assistance of Rs 18,000 annually.
Akhilesh Yadav gave reply to BJP’s election manifesto
In the next four years, to make all farmers debt free, establishment of micro finance bank for small and medium enterprises, socialist pension of 1500 rupees per month to 50 lakh people in the state, 300 units of free electricity every month and old 2005 for government employees. The Samajwadi Party has responded to the election announcement of the Bharatiya Janata Party with a lucrative promise to implement the pension scheme as before.

Promised to give one liter of petrol every month
There has also been a promise to create a separate defense force for traders and to introduce a single roof clearance system system for all industries. Establishment of MSMEs will be encouraged in all major cities. Free electricity for irrigation, interest free loan for agriculture, free insurance and pension facility will be given to all the farmers. All two wheelers will get one liter every month and auto drivers will get three liters of diesel, petrol or 6 kg of CNG free of cost. Urban Employment Guarantee Act will be made on the lines of MNREGA.
11 lakh government posts will be filled at the earliest
Describing the key points of the manifesto, Akhilesh Yadav said that about 11 lakh government posts vacant in the state would be filled at the earliest. Recruitment on contract will be terminated. In its manifesto, the SP has promised to provide employment to one crore people in five years and all the vacant posts, especially in the education sector, have been said to be filled soon. The government has promised to give Rs 5000 per month to the teachers working in the state’s finance-less schools. Free WiFi zones will be created in all villages and cities.
Samajwadi Pension Yojana will be restarted
Keeping in mind the caste equations, the SP in its manifesto has promised to form a corporation for the business of the society like Nishad and Kewat, Vishwakarma. Akhilesh Yadav said that Rs 200-300 crore would be given to these corporations if needed. He said that the Samajwadi Pension Yojana would be started again and under this Rs 18000 would be given per annum. Along with the opening of Samajwadi canteens and grocery stores, Samajwadi thali will be provided to the poor at Rs.10. Mazdoor power line will be established like the women power line started in the SP government to help women. 25 lakh will be given to the martyrs in the farmers’ movement and a memorial will be built in their memory. CCTV and surveillance system will be installed in the village also. Free laptops will be given to all the students who have passed class 12th across the state.
