Not only in India, but people in many countries of the world are troubled by the recent increase in the price of petrol and diesel and inflation. In view of this problem of its employees, a British company has announced a bonus of Rs 74,091 (about 750 pounds) to them. The company said that due to the increase in the prices of essential commodities like fuel and electricity in Britain, people’s budget has been spoiled. In such a situation, this bonus will help the employees to pay fuel and electricity bills.
A company named Emerys Timber and Builders Merchants said that this amount will be given to all its 60 employees. According to the report of British media, the company’s managing director himself has announced to give this money to all the employees from his own pocket and it will cost him about 44.46 lakh rupees (£45,000).
“Due to rising fuel/petrol and electricity/gas costs, we have announced £750 for all Emery employees. We hope this will help our team tide over these volatile financial times,” the company said in a tweet. Help will come. Like a family, Emery takes care of her employees in difficult times!”

James Hipkins, 51, the company’s managing director and father of three children, said, “Everyone is struggling in these difficult times. So we thought why share some of our money with the employees. They are not expecting it. And they were very happy with it.”
Inflation may reach 40-year high in Britain
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson acknowledged last month that the cost of essential goods was skyrocketing and that the government would have to do more to help the British people. The British government estimates that by the end of 2022, inflation could reach a 40-year high.
Since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, prices of many important commodities, including oil and gas, have soared around the world. Due to this, inflation has increased all over the world. Prior to this, due to the Corona epidemic for two years, the economy of almost all the countries had suffered a lot due to the lockdown.
