Faesal said that he is tired of waiting, but there is no enthusiasm from the Congress leadership and in such a situation he has kept his options open.
“Tired of waiting. No enthusiasm from top leadership. My options are open,” he tweeted. Originally from Gujarat, Faisal Patel made this statement a few months before the state assembly elections.

Ahmed Patel, a long-time political advisor to Congress President Sonia Gandhi and the party’s troubleshooter, died on November 25, 2020, due to health complications following the Covid-19 infection.
Faisal did not get any assurance from the party
After Patel’s death, his son was not given any assurance from the party. Ahmed Patel has been a member of the party for a long time and was considered one of the most powerful leaders of the party after the Gandhi family.
However, Faisal Patel’s statement comes as a setback for the party, which has failed to fulfill the wishes of its young workers. The Congress has recently seen the departure of many leaders from within the party who have joined the BJP.
Another group of senior Congress leaders, called the G-23, have openly expressed their objection to the functioning of the party.

A few days before this tweet, Faesal had said that he would visit seven assembly seats in Bharuch and Narmada districts of Gujarat. Assembly elections in the state are likely to be held in December later this year.
Faisal Patel said, “From April 1, I will visit 7 assembly seats in Bharuch and Narmada districts. My team will assess the current reality of the political situation and, if required, make major changes to meet our main goal. “
During his political career, Ahmed Patel did not formally bring his children into politics. Apart from the party line in Gujarat, he had a large number of followers and was also a significant influence on his home ground in Bharuch.
