There are 24 assembly seats in this region
In this election, there is a tough fight between the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) and the BJP. The BJP is trying its best to show its strength in the state before the 2023 Telangana assembly elections. The GHMC is also a fan of the election results because the region gets 24 assembly seats and the state assembly elections are due in 2023. TRS wants to maintain its dominance in these seats through this election while BJP is trying to increase its presence in South India. Right now the BJP is only in Karnataka in South India. Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri tweeted that the wind of change has become clear from the BJP’s lead in the initial trends.
Early trends emerging from Hyderabad indicate a change in popular mood & shape of things to come.
Policies of transformative development are hard to beat & always triumph over hollow populism & fake narrative.#GHMCElectionresults #GHMCwithBJP
