Amravati. Asha and group promoters, who worked as COVID warriors during the Corona period, have not received the honorarium since August. With this major problem, various demands are still pending with the government. Due to which a demonstration was held outside the Zilla Parishad office on Monday on behalf of the Aayatak-affiliated Asha and group promoter organization. At this time, a request was submitted to the Chief Executive Officer of the Zilla Parishad with reference to the pending honorarium and pending demands at the earliest.
rapid movement warning
Under the corona prevention vaccination, ‘Har Ghar Dastak’ campaign is being run in urban and rural areas of Maharashtra. In this campaign, ASHA volunteers and group promoters are being forced to work from morning till evening. But no compensation is given to ASHA volunteers and group promoters in this regard.
ASHA volunteers are recruited on a work-based basis. An incentive of one thousand rupees from the Central Government for Corona work is due from October 2021. This allowance is very less. There was a demand to increase it by Rs 100 per day. Asha and the group promoters are engaged in the work of Corona from morning till evening, in such a situation they do not even get time to do their original work. Also, the honorarium of Rs 2000 and Rs 3000 imposed by the state government is due since August.
For this reason, this movement was carried out regarding the outstanding honorarium and other pending demands. Along with this, he also warned to intensify the agitation if the demands were not met.
Praful Deshmukh, Savita Akolkar, Chetna Kasture, Lalita Thackeray, Meena Kasdekar, Padma Mahulkar, Jyoti Tayde, Ujjwala Chaudhary, Sangita Bhasme, Mangala Wankhede, Shabana Bano, Kavita Lokhande, Vijaya Manvar, Sushila Mavaskar, Bharti Kasar, Pragya Mohad, Sadhna Joshi, Meghali Junghare, Mamta Sukhdeve, Ratnakala Khadse, Satvashila Tayde, Sandhya Jawarkar, Narmada Dhande, Jyoti Maraskolhe, Mangala Wankhede, Kavita Lokhande etc. were present in large numbers.
give job based remuneration
In the request submitted by Asha Sevik, it has been demanded that work-based honorarium should be given, the work for which has not been paid, should not be done. During the Corona period, 8-10 hours of work is being done every day. But, the honorarium of the work is less, in which at least Rs.300 per day should be paid, the ASHA and group promoters of the state government should be increased by Rs.2000 and Rs.3000, the outstanding honorarium should be paid from August, 200 Corona vaccination session should be paid at the rate of Rs.
Grievance Redressal Committee should be constituted in the district, despite the order given by the State Government to give incentive allowance to ASHA and group promoters from the Gram Panchayat, the Zilla Parishad has not taken any step. The gram panchayat of the district is also not ready to implement this order, the ASHAs working in the civic project are being forced to work on behalf of the city council without any compensation, which should be stopped, etc. Many demands were made. Huh.
