Nagpur. In view of the possibility of attack by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Headquarters and Hedgewar Bhawan terrorist organization, vigilance has increased at major places of the city. Under this, high alert has also been given regarding Nagpur station. In such a situation, the Railway Protection Force has increased patrolling in the station premises. Along with this, the bomb disposal squad of Lehmarg Police and the dog squad of RPF are continuously checking the luggage of the passengers.
Suspect interrogated, armed
Nagpur city has remained calm in the matter of terrorist activities, but the reiki of the high-security RSS headquarters has put the police and intelligence agencies on alert mode. In such a situation, the RPF jawans are being interrogated if any suspicious is seen at the station. At the same time, keeping in mind the emergency, the soldiers were equipped with rifles like AK-47. Armed RPF personnel are patrolling the station premises and trains for 24 hours.
Included in sensitive stations
It is noteworthy that Nagpur station has been included in the sensitive stations of the country. Even before this, the security of the station was tightened after various terrorist attacks in the country, but till date there was no shadow of terrorist attack on the city. In such a situation, the developments of the last few days have raised the ears of the railway security agencies as well. Although this task is very challenging. Even though the accused, who carried out the recce of the RSS headquarters and the Hedgewar Bhavan, came to Nagpur by plane, it is quite a challenge for the security agencies of the railways to keep an eye on the suspects among their passengers. Despite this, security arrangements are being tightened together by RPF and GRP.
