Ranchi : BJP’s National Minister cum Mayor of Ranchi, Dr. Asha Lakra, Deputy Commissioner of Gumla district for the solution of the public problems of Ghaghra police station area. Met (Deputy Commissioner) Shishir Kumar Sinha. The family members of the victim were also present during this. BJP’s national minister told Deputy Commissioner Shishir Kumar Sinha that the people of three victims’ families of Ghaghra police station area are making rounds of government offices demanding employment/appointment, yet they neither got employment nor appointment.
He said that on the one hand Chief Minister Hemant Soren is claiming to solve the problems of the people by organizing your Adhikar Aapki Sarkar Aapke Dwar program in all the districts of the state, while on the other hand some people of Ghaghra police station area of Gumla district have been demanding their demands for many years. They are going round the government office regarding this, yet their demands have not been implemented so far. The people related to the state government are only demanding employment and compassionate appointment. The state government had also promised to provide employment to every unemployed as soon as it took power. Along with this, he had promised to give unemployment allowance every month if he does not get employment. But from the attitude of the state government, it seems that the Hemant government is disobeying the promises of the people of the state. Here, Deputy Commissioner Shishir Kumar Sinha assured the BJP National Minister that the demand of the victim’s family would be fulfilled at the earliest.

BJP’s National Minister Dr. Asha Lakra, who had come to meet the Deputy Commissioner of Gumla district to solve the problems of the families of the victims, are as follows:
- Balmuti, 20-year-old daughter of Mukesh Munjani Lohra, resident of Tongri Toli, located in Baniyadih village of Ghaghra police station area, and Sudhir Lohra, 26, are mentally challenged since birth. Due to lack of employment, they are unable to take care of their handicapped children. He had demanded employment from the labor commissioner. On 24 October 2021, the Labor Commissioner had written a letter to the Deputy Commissioner urging him to take appropriate initiative in the direction of providing employment to Mukesh Munjani Lohra. But till now the Deputy Commissioner has not taken any action in this direction.
- Karthik Oraon, a resident of Chundri village of Ghaghra police station area, is unemployed and disabled. Despite having BA Economics, DCA and D.El.Ed degree, they are unemployed.
- Sumdev Oraon, a resident of Budhu village of Ghaghra police station area, was killed in the militant violence. The District Establishment cum Deputy Collector had written a letter to the Superintendent of Police on December 16 to grant approval and appointment on compassionate grounds to his dependent. Through the letter, he had requested the Superintendent of Police to provide the list/details of the police station cases registered against the late Sumdev Oraon under 17 CLA. In response to the letter, on October 14, 2021, the Superintendent of Police wrote a letter to the Additional Collector informing that no case has been registered against the late Sumdev Oraon in various police stations of Gumla district except under 17 CLA Act.
