New Delhi: The third wave of Corona Virus has knocked in the country. New cases are continuously increasing. Meanwhile, on Tuesday, Union Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya reviewed health preparedness for corona and vaccination progress with 9 states/UTs. During the meeting, the Health Minister advised the states to send the data of COVID test and vaccination in time.
The Union Health Minister told the states and union territories that, at present, a large number of people are opting for home isolation at home. In such a situation, they should be monitored according to the national guidelines. Health ministers of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Delhi, Ladakh, Uttar Pradesh and Chandigarh were present in this meeting. At the same time, he also said that attention should be paid to increasing the corona test in those states, which have seen a decrease in recent days.

2,55,874 new cases were reported in the country
It is noteworthy that, according to the information received by the Ministry of Health, in the last 24 hours, more than 2.5 lakh patients of corona have appeared in the country. While 614 people have died. The corona infection rate in the country is 15.2%. At the same time, the number of active cases of corona is more than 22 lakhs. It is a matter of relief that 2,67,753 people have been cured of the epidemic.
At present, there are 22,36,842 active cases of COVID in the country. So far 3,70,71,898 people have recovered after treatment. Whereas 4,90,462 people have died due to corona. The total vaccination figure in the country has reached 1,62,92,09,308.
