Dehradun: Reacting strongly to Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s statement of ‘Dhobi ka… na ghar ka na ghat ka’, former Chief Minister of the state Harish Rawat on Sunday said that if Uttarakhand’s If interests are hurt, he “will not hesitate to bark and bite.”
Describing Shah’s words as “the BJP’s bad attitude towards Uttarakhandis”, Rawat said, “The dog is considered a part of Bhairav. If I am a dog in their eyes, then I am not from Uttarakhand. If I speak, not only for Uttarakhand. I will bark for Uttarakhand only. But remember that if Uttarakhand’s interests are hurt, I will bark and bite a little.”

On Saturday, the last day of campaigning for the assembly elections in Uttarakhand, Shah held several rallies in which he said there was confusion in his party regarding Rawat, the former chief minister of the state. Shah had said, “Whether or not he will make poor Harish Rawat a leader. Will give tickets or not. Will give from here, give from there. of a washerman…does not want to speak further, neither of the house nor of the ghat.”
Sharing this video of the Union Home Minister on Twitter, Rawat said that from Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Union Ministers and Chief Ministers are coming to Uttarakhand and “hurling logs on a log on a small Congress worker”.
