New Delhi/Dehradun. According to the big news of the morning, before the Uttarakhand elections (Uttrakhand), now Harak Singh Rawat and daughter-in-law Anukruti have duly taken membership of the Congress. At the same time, after joining the Congress, he said, “What can be a bigger apology than this that if the Congress government will be formed in the state with full majority on March 10, I will feel that I have apologised.” I would be happiest on that day. Amit Shah had said that friendship should not be broken, I did not break friendship till the last minute.
Harak Singh Rawat was expelled by BJP on January 16 for six years. In fact, Rawat was expelled from the primary membership of the party due to indiscipline. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had also sacked Rawat from the Council of Ministers.
Party decided to induct him and we all stand with the decision of the party. Party takes a collective decision and I am a part of it. Everybody should welcome it: Harish Rawat on Harak Singh Rawat – the expelled Uttarakhand BJP minister who joined Congress today in Delhi pic.twitter.com/qmiOEIb3wN

It was also coming out that, Rawat, MLA from Kotdwar assembly seat of Pauri Garhwal district, was demanding ticket from BJP for changing his seat as well as for his daughter-in-law Anukreethy. Even so, it is understood that he was shown the way out after the BJP did not agree on these issues and amid speculations that he would join the Congress.
