Give priority to solving the problems of the general public – Vilas Tembhurne
Former District Council member Vilas Tembhurne said that due to the strike of the State Transport Department, private buses and four wheelers are the only way left these days for college students, those traveling for marriage and other events. Due to this the passengers are losing both time and money. To go to such a remote area in a route in which private vehicles do not operate, by reserving the vehicle, the passengers are spending manifold money. The government should solve this on priority.

Medicine is getting costlier for the patients – Gosain Atram
Gosain Atram, a resident of Durgapur and an Aryavedic doctor by profession, told about the ST strike that it is affecting the poor patients in a special way. He told that poor patients come to me from far and wide because of their illness. Due to ST strike, patients from remote and rural areas are not able to come for treatment because they do not have the money to reserve vehicles. Medicines are cheap, but private transport is getting expensive due to lack of buses in rural areas. ST’s strike is affecting the villagers more. Poor villagers have to travel on foot.
