- The data of the poor is missing from the software
- Officials are claiming to send data to Mumbai
Nagpur. In order to provide food grains to the poor in the state every year, the government has started the Pradhanya Gat Yojana. By which it is made available to the eligible person through ration card. Also, the government has prepared special software from a private company so that no injustice should be done to anyone. In this, complete data of the eligible person concerned is kept.
Also, it is linked with Aadhaar for verification. Even so everything is correct. But the data of many poor is disappearing from this software. That is, the data of those who have recently uploaded their Aadhar cards in the software is missing. Due to which they are being deprived of food grains for the last several months. They have also complained about this to the officials but nothing has come out of the result. Nagpur officials send their complaints to Mumbai and make ends meet. The persons eligible for food grains are still making rounds of the department. So that they can get food grains on time.
only procrastination
According to the victims, the officials send their complaint to the Mumbai Head Office. The work of updating software in Mumbai has been given to a private company. After reaching here, the complaint gets buried forever. This has been going on for the last two years. That is why the needy poor are not able to take advantage of the government’s primary group scheme. Every month many complaints reach the rationing zonal departments of the city but no official has been able to solve them. Complaints have also been made to the Food Supply Minister in this matter, but after all assurances, they keep silence.
data is transferred
The problem of non-feeding of data in the software has been going on for almost two years, but the exercise of transferring the problem of victims from Nagpur to Mumbai has been going on till now. In this matter, the Civil Food Supply Department seems to be refraining from saying anything. However, whenever the victims repeatedly go to the top officials with their plea, they keep silence. In the last two years of COVID, many families suffered due to lack of food. However, some social and political organizations are coming forward in this matter and working to solve the problem.
