To curb the chemical tanker mafia, cabins have also been built for checking every tanker by stopping them from the barrier and now orders for banning chemical tanker entry for 12 hours in Ambernath and Badlapur MIDC area have been issued by Thane Police Commissioner’s office. At the cabin, the police will check the chemicals in every tanker by the administration and all the process will be closely monitored by CCTV cameras.

Now the police administration is also getting ready to take care of the health of the citizens due to the release of deadly chemicals by chemical tanker mafia in the highly polluted Waldhuni river flowing through Ulhasnagar and Ulhas river flowing through Kalyan. According to the information, the movement of chemical tankers in Ambernath, Badlapur MIDC area will now be banned for 12 hours in this manner from 6 pm to 6 am. has gone. If chemical tankers are found in the said MIDC area in these 12 hours, then legal action can also be taken by registering a case on behalf of the police administration.
It is worth noting that after the civil appeal was filed in the Supreme Court by Vanshakti Public Trust, which is working continuously on pollution abatement, as per the order of the court, the government has taken up the task of installing barriers and CCTV cameras at the main entrance of Ambernath Industrial Estate. One cabin has been set up for this purpose in front of Saibaba temple and another at Forest Naka.
The MIDC administration has so far fully cooperated for the development of Waldhuni river and will continue to do so in future. Orders have been given to the concerned to install GPS system on each chemical tanker carrying the waste chemicals.
