Meanwhile, the Excise Department of the Delhi government has now allowed retail licensees to shift from non-conforming areas (mix use areas) to authorized commercial markets in the same zone. This decision may directly benefit 134 liquor shops, which could not open in those areas as corporations had denied them even before giving permission.
