According to the information received, the central employees have been demanding for the last 3 years regarding the fitment factor. However, now soon the Modi government can take a decision on the demand of this central employees. If the fitment factor of central employees increases, then their basic salary may increase.
At the same time, the data for All India Consumer Price Index (AICPI) November has arrived. The index is 125.7. This means that dearness allowance will increase by 2 percent. At present, central employees are getting 31 percent dearness allowance. At the same time, DA is expected to increase in January. This means that after the increase in dearness allowance, the employees will start getting 33 percent DA.

The last time the fitment factor was increased was in 2016, in which the minimum basic pay of employees was increased from Rs 6,000 to Rs 18,000. This time due to increase in fitment factor, the minimum basic salary of the employees can be increased to Rs 26,000.
According to media reports, before the increase in DA, the Modi government can take a decision regarding the fitment factor. Right now the fitment factor is 2.57, while the employees have been demanding it to be 3.68 for a long time. At present, if the minimum salary of central employees is Rs 18 thousand, then excluding allowances, you will be getting Rs 46,260 (18,000 X 2.57 = 46,260) according to the 2.57 fitment factor. At the same time, if the Modi government accepts the demand of central employees and makes the fitment factor 3.68, then the salary of the employees will be Rs 95,680 (26000X3.68 = 95,680).
Right now the fitment factor is 2.57. In addition to allowances such as DA, TA, HRA, etc., the basic salary of the employee is calculated by multiplying the fitment factor 2.57 while determining the salary.
