Nagpur. In Ajni and Beltarodi police station area, youth played a game of mobile snatching for 3 hours. 3 incidents one after the other put the police in tension. But within 24 hours, the Ajni police found the clues of the accused and put them behind the bars. Police have detained 4 youths including 2 minors in these incidents. The arrested accused include Vilas Rajesh Sorle (19), resident of Manishnagar, Vishal Vasant Raut (19), resident of Tribal Society, Manishnagar and two minors living in the premises.
Vilas and Vishal went for a walk with their minor partner. A mobile phone was snatched from the hands of a person in the Chinchbhavan complex. After this Vilas left Vishal at home. Taking 2 minors along with them, snatched the mobile from the hand of the teenager in New Vijayanagar area and within 1 hour in Suyognagar also snatched the mobile from a girl and escaped. Due to three incidents one after the other, DCP Zone 4 Nurul Hasan gave strict instructions to the police to find the accused by any means.

Footage of CCTV cameras installed in the surrounding areas including the spot was scanned. The photographs of the accused were sent to the punters and information about Vilas was received. Police took Vilas and Vishal into custody. Both also told the houses of minors. The accused are drug addicts. They were committing robberies to get drunk. The police have also registered a case against the person who bought the stolen mobile from him. Goods worth Rs 1.33 lakh were seized including 3 mobile phones and 2 two wheelers. Inspector Sareen Durge, Sub Inspector Ashish Singh Thakur, Head Constable Khemraj Patil, Atul Davande, Manoj Neware and Hansraj Pauljhgade carried out the action.
