Samsung has launched its new Galaxy S22 series in India with the most powerful processor. The South Korean electronics giant had already launched it on February 9 in select markets. The three new smartphones in the Galaxy S22 series are the most powerful smartphones like Galaxy S22 Plus, Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Ultra.
Samsung’s recently launched Galaxy S22 series is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset for the Indian market. The pre-orders for the Galaxy S22 series will start from February 23, 2022.
Looking at the features, Galaxy S22 Ultra is the most powerful smartphone of this series. It has the iconic S-Pen support and pro-grade camera. At the same time, Galaxy S22 and S22+ are equipped with advanced intelligent image processing with dynamic camera.
The Galaxy S22 smartphone series is focused on low-light photography. The Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus and S22 have a 50MP wide lens, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10MP telephoto lens. Both the phones have a 10MP front camera.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 packs a 3,700mAh battery with a 25W charger, while the S22 Plus packs a 4,500mAh battery and a 45W charger. The smartphones run on One UI 4.0 based on Android 12. The Galaxy S22 sports a 6.1-inch display and the S22 Plus sports a 6.6-inch AMOLED display that includes 120Hz refresh rate.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus 8GB/128GB variant will be available for Rs 84,999 and the 8GB/256GB model will be available for Rs 88,999. At the same time, the Galaxy S22 got a price tag of Rs 72,999 for the 8GB/128GB base variant. While the 8GB/256GB phone will sell for Rs 76,999. Both these smartphones will be available in Phantom Black, Phantom White and Green colours.
Similarly, it has also launched Galaxy S22 Ultra with built-in S-Pen, which is available in three colours. It has a 6.8 inch Dynamic AMOLED display and 120Hz refresh rate. The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra sports a 108MP main lens along with a 12MP ultra-wide lens, a 10MP telephoto sensor, and a second 10MP telephoto lens. For selfie, it has a 40MP front camera.
It gets a 5,000mAh battery with a 45W charger in the box. It also runs on Samsung’s One UI 4.0 based on Android 12. Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultras will also be available in two variants.
The 12GB/256GB basic model costs Rs 1,09,999 and the 12GB/512GB variant costs Rs 1,18,999. It comes in Burgundy, Phantom Black (512GB variant) and the 256GB model will be available in Burgundy, Phantom Black and Phantom White.
