Mumbai: Mumbai Police has registered a fresh case against underworld gangster Suresh Pujari, who was brought to India from Philippines. A fresh case has been registered against Pujari in Mumbai’s Vakola police station for threatening the director of a company for extortion. Pujari is currently in the custody of Maharashtra ATS.
According to news agency ANI, a case of extortion has been registered against gangster Suresh Pujari at Vakola police station. He had called the director of a company on 22 March 2021 and threatened to kill him if he did not pay the money. The matter has been sent to Anti Extortion Cell for further investigation.
In fact, Suresh Pujari, who was once special to underworld gangster Ravi Pujari, was finally brought to India from the Philippines on Tuesday. Suresh Pujari was deported from the Philippines and brought to Delhi, after which the Maharashtra ATS took him into its custody. ATS had brought him from Delhi to Mumbai. Suresh Pujari has several criminal cases registered against him in Mumbai and Thane.
