Lucknow : Amrit Mahotsav is being celebrated to pay tribute to the freedom revolutionaries. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given five mantras on the country’s entry into the 75th year of independence. These include the dream of the country’s energy, saluting the revolutionaries of the country, the welfare of the country, making the country a power in the world and making India self-reliant.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who came to honor the families of the martyrs in the memory of the brave martyrs of Kakori Action, said these things. On this occasion the families of the martyrs of Kakori Action including the families of Param Vir Chakra winner Manoj Pandey were felicitated.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that independence means that the poor should have a pucca house, so the government brought PM Awas Yojana, if women can get cooking gas, the government implemented the Ujjwala scheme, if the poor had electricity, the government implemented the Saubhagya scheme. The Chief Minister Sumangala Schemes were implemented if every girl child is upgraded. The Chief Minister’s mass marriage scheme and Ayushman Yojana were implemented so that no poor should die due to lack of medical treatment. Efforts are being made in this direction that happiness can be brought on the face of the poor, security can be guaranteed to every daughter, every young man can be moved towards economic self-reliance. Let us move towards self-reliant India.

He said that to save 133 crore people inside the country from the corona epidemic, the Modi government is giving free vaccine, free treatment, free test, free ration without discrimination. It is doing this because the country is independent, it is the responsibility of the government. That is why the Modi-Yogi government is working to deliver schemes to the people in an equanimous manner.

Recalling the martyrdom of the revolutionaries at the Kakori memorial site, he said that our country was definitely forced to be hostage for some time under foreign invaders and foreign rule. But the people of the country never accepted it. This effort was seen at different places of the country including Ballia, Gorakhpur, Bithoor, Jhansi. He told that in the year 1922, a historical event took place in Chauri Chaura of Gorakhpur, this is his centenary year. In Chauri Square, farmers, laborers, women, youth had challenged the British rule.
Similarly, in the Kakori action, the revolutionaries shook the British rule regarding their property. Among his heroes were Rajendra Nath Lahiri, Pt. Ramprasad Bismil, Ashfaq Ulla Khan and Thakur Roshan Singh. The British government decided to hang these four revolutionaries on 19 December 1927 without completing any hearing. But the scared British government hanged Rajendra Nath Lahiri in Gonda two days ago. After this Ramprasad Bismil was hanged in Gorakhpur, Ashfaq Ulla Khan in Faizabad jail and Thakur Roshan Singh in Naini jail. The sacrifice of these four revolutionaries proved to be a milestone for India’s independence.
