860 resident flat work
The Municipal Corporation has given the work of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana to Gannon Dunkerley Company Limited of Mumbai as per a contract on 27 November 2017 and entrusted the construction of 860 flats in different areas of the city. In spite of this, Gannon Dunkerley Company, in spite of not having the right to distribute the work (sublet) in violation of the rules, acquired Nagpur’s Eco Technology Pvt. Ltd. given work to
sublet on sublet
Eco Technology emerged as an NGO on 3rd April, 2018. Gannon Dunkerley assigned the job to such an inexperienced company, even though he had no experience in manufacturing. With no experience of construction near Eco Technology, he also sublet this ambitious project again. Eco Technology Pvt. Ltd. handed over the works of Badnera 194 and Rahatgaon 127/2 and 128 residential flats to Kalpavriksha Construction and Builders (KBC) of Amravati under mutual agreement (MoU).
Eco Technology told Kalpavriksha Construction in the MoU that Gannon Dunkerley has outsourced this work to Eco Technology. But when Kalpavriksha approached the court, it came to know that eco technology has nothing to do with the Municipal Corporation. Due to which the operators of Kalpavriksha got a shock.
trio of thugs
Eco Technology has cheated other contractors including Kalpavriksha. It was also told in the press conference that Eco Technology had embezzled computer parts and materials from ADC Bank as Pronics Systems Company in the year 2005. Eco Technology got the contractors working by keeping the MOU in the dark. When the time came to make the payment, he pretended that he had not received it from the Municipal Corporation. However, Gannon Dunkerley, the main contractor of the Municipal Corporation, has taken funds from time to time.
It is also revealed that Eco Technology has also taken money from Gannon Dunkerley. Eco Technology Pvt. Ltd. (ETPL) directors Milind Chavan, Ashish Vandile, Vivek Kale have been accused by Kalpavriksha Construction and Builders’ Samir Bodkhe, Shubham Gughane of cheating the trio of subcontractors.
