Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) bought Indian equities worth about Rs 25,750 crore in the last year i.e. 2021. During the same period, the benchmark index Sensex gained about 22 per cent and BSE Smallcap index gained about 25 per cent. BSE Small Moneycontrol’s analysis on cap stocks shows that FIIs have steadily increased their stake in around 76 companies in each of the four quarters of 2021. Interestingly, out of these 76 stocks, 26 stocks have gained in the last one year. Doubled investors’ wealth and 7 of them became multibaggers who tripled investors’ money (Data Source: ACE Equity).
