Lucknow : Prime Minister Narendra Modi has slammed the opposition amidst the ruckus over the launch-foundation of projects in Uttar Pradesh. On Saturday, on the occasion of the inauguration of the Saryu Canal Project, pending for the last 44 years, in Balrampur, PM Modi took a jibe at the opposition for taking credit for every work. He said that when I left Delhi today, I was waiting since morning that when someone will come, say that Modi ji, we had cut the tape of this scheme, we had started this scheme. There are some people who have a habit of saying that they may have cut the ribbon of this plan in their childhood.
Addressing the public meeting on the occasion of Lokaparna, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the water of the country’s rivers should be utilized properly, sufficient water should reach the farmers’ fields, it is among the top priorities of the government. The completion of the Saryu Canal National Project is a proof that when the thinking is honest, the work is also strong.
