‘Space 11’ founder Andrea Iervolino is bringing a show called ‘Galactic Combat’, in which fighters will be fought in zero gravity.
You may have seen Mix Martial Arts (MMA) fight so far in the arena. But a new TV show is going to start soon, in which fighters will have to fight each other out of this planet. A new production company named ‘Space 11’ is launching a new show called ‘Glactic Combat’.
In ‘Glactic Combat’, 40 mix martial arts fighters from all over the world will prepare for the final match of the tournament in zero gravity. This tournament will run for 12 months and will be the first time that someone will be in fight space. This new game has been named ‘MMA-Zero G’.
All the fighters will be trained in how to fight in the absence of gravity. This training will be similar to that given to astronauts. Of the 40 fighters participating in this tournament, the last two fighters who survive will be taken to the outer atmosphere of the Earth for the final match. Here they will fight for 90 minutes.
‘Space 11’ founder Andrea Iervolino gave this information on Wednesday. Iervolino plans to produce films, TV shows and live events in the outer environment of the Earth. He said that it would be wonderful to see the fight in zero gravity and it shows that the intention with which Space 11 was set up is to do it.
‘Glactic Combat’ is currently in preproduction. It is expected to air 12 episodes by 2023. Iervolino said that when people punch you in zero gravity, it is a very different way to punch someone. For this, a very different type of training will have to be taken.
The team of ‘Space 11’ is filled with many people who are very interested in space. This includes former employees of Elon Musk’s company SpaceX, astronomers and scientists. Many production companies are looking for big names to make an exciting reality TV show.
Another American production company ‘Propagate’ is working on a project called ‘Space Hero’. The purpose of this project is to send International Space Station (ISS) people to stay with the crew for 10 days. However, how many people will be included in it, it is not known.
