Even though some experts have suggested that India has entered the final stage of the corona virus (COVID-19), experts say that it is still too early to say. Scientists have said that a lot will depend on future coronavirus variants and that’s why we need to be ‘cautious’ now.
Rakesh Mishra, director of the Tata Institute for Genetics and Society, warned people that now everyone should wait for the coronavirus to reach its final stage. He said that the future depends on the new variant of Corona, we should be cautious. We cannot say right now that the pandemic is over.
Rakesh Mishra told news agency ANI, “We should still wait for the Covid pandemic to reach its academic stage. He added that it depends on some future variants and things may go downhill, we should be cautious. We cannot declare right now that we have dealt with the pandemic.

Mishra said that using some criteria you can say that now the infection rate is very low. You could call it endemic, but I guess that’s still going to have to wait because you remember there was a similar situation between the second wave and the third wave.
Dr Mishra further said what is the position of WHO and they meet every three months to discuss the pandemic. I think a lot depends on this. The future is different and there are things to be assured that will not be in much trouble. But there are also reasons to keep in mind that things can sometimes be more difficult.
