A video of a Pakistani news channel is becoming very viral on social media these days, in which a Pakistani panelist is comparing bananas grown in India with those grown in Pakistan. The panelist’s way of comparing bananas was such that even the female anchors hosting the show could not hold back their laughter and laughed for a long time during the show. Twitter users are also getting very angry after seeing this video.
This 54-second video has been shared by Pakistani journalist Nalia Inayat on her Twitter. In the clip, female anchor Alveena Agha is seen discussing the problems of development in Pakistan. During this, panelist Khwaja Naveed Ahmed said that banana is being grown in large quantities in Sindh and if the rulers of the country spend a little on its research, then the demand and supply of banana can be increased further.

Khwaja Ahmed adds, “There is a banana in Bombay (Mumbai) that is bigger than the size of a hand. If six bananas are kept in the room, the fragrance spreads throughout the room. Similarly, the Dhaka banana is also very tall. Whereas in our Sindh only finger is such a big banana. Anchor Alveena Agha starts laughing here.

Khwaja Ahmed adds, “If our rulers do research on these tall bananas and bring it to Sindh so that the production and quality of bananas can be increased here.” Alivana can’t stop laughing after this and somehow says “Okay sir, you are right.”

Alivana then controls her laughter and says that by this you meant that research and development in Pakistan is in very bad condition and we desperately need to do a lot more work on it. Till the end of the video, Alivana keeps on laughing about the discussion on bananas. This video has now gone viral on Twitter.
Sharing this video, Nalia Inayat wrote, “Means the real winner is the banana of Bombay.” At the same time, some Twitter users also said that this dialogue was completely double meaning and the way the female anchor tried to stop laughing during this time, it is commendable.
