- Request of public representatives of Shri Sant Gadgebaba Janseva Sanstha
BallarpurThe death of any creature who has got life is also an eternal truth, death is irrevocable after life, every family of the deceased fulfills the law of law by performing the last rites with full respect. Due to the rapid development of Ballarpur city here, the condition of reaching the dead body after traveling several kilometers has come. In such a situation, even after death, there is no peace for Parthiv. In view of the problems being faced by the family and relatives of the deceased, there is a dire need of Mokshadham on the one hand in the city.
Due to the presence of Asia’s largest paper factory, coal mine, forest department depot and major railway junction of the district in Ballarpur, the population has increased at a much faster rate than other cities. There is only Mokshadham on the banks of river Wardha in the entire city for the last rites of any deceased in the family of the people settled here. In view of the increasing population of the city, arrangements should be made for Mokshadham in Tekdi campus so that it is easy for the residents of the city to cremate their late family member. The request has been submitted to the President Shri Chandan Singh Chandel and the Chief Officer of Ballarpur Municipality.
In the request, Srinivas Sunchuwar said that due to the expansion of the city, the distance of Mokshadham from the local tecdi complex is 4 to 5 km, due to which people have to face trouble in carrying the dead body to such a distance. Especially in summer and rainy season, there is a lot of inconvenience in carrying the dead body so far away. In view of the inconvenience of the people, if the Municipal Administration makes arrangements for Mokshadham in the local Tekdi campus, then it will be very easy for everyone.
He pointed out that even before this, the then Ballarpur Municipality Officer had sent letter no. npb / yo. v.672/07 d. Through 2/6/2007, there was a demand to transfer the land of their jurisdiction to the Municipality, to the Forest Conservator, Vahatuk and Marketing Department. But no decision has been taken on this yet.
Therefore, in view of the difficulties in the funeral of the deceased in Mokshadham, the demand for immediate arrangement of Mokshadham in Tekdi campus has been made by the President of Shri Sant Gadgebaba Janseva Sanstha Srinivas Sunchuwar, Vikas Rajurkar, Prashant Bhore, Gyanendra Arya, Vaibhav Menewar. There was a positive discussion with the Chief Officer.
