Aurangabad: On the orders of Municipal Corporation Administrator Astik Kumar Pandey, the Encroachment Removal Squad of the Municipal Corporation removed many encroachments obstructing the traffic from the major business areas of the city. In the day-long action on Friday, removing more than 30 encroachments gave relief from encroachment to the traders of the main trade peths and the vehicles passing by.
Action was taken against the drivers of three iron tappis and four hand vehicles near the Juna Bazar Nehru Bhawan complex of the city. After that, a fruit vendor started his shop by constructing a platform of two feet height on the land of Aurangpura Piya Market Municipal Corporation in about 30 X 30. This encroachment was cleared with the help of JCB. 5X7 size iron tapri near Piya Market of Municipal Corporation was expelled and confiscated. In this complex all the encroachments spread on the way of Kumbharwada Road were removed. After that action was taken against total 7 encroachment holders of Zilla Parishad road from Jyotiba Phule’s statue to Anjali Talkies. One vehicle was seized after taking action on the three hand vehicles of the owner of Ganesh Sabudana Vada. After that, the encroachment squad of the Municipal Corporation took action in Gulmandi, Rangar Galli, City Chowk and removed three to four encroachments.

Action on generator vehicle holders
In place of Barapula Gate of the city, the work of developing it under Smart City was taken up. At this place some traders parked their generator vehicles and created many obstacles in the work of beautification of the gate.
