A Norfolk Superior Court jury has gone a second day with out a verdict within the case of the 25-year-old man charged with the homicide of Weymouth Police Sgt. Michael Chesna, 42, and bystander Vera Adams, 77, almost 5 years in the past.
Emanuel Lopes, 25, faces a complete of 11 fees. In addition to the homicide fees, he stands accused of tried homicide, weapons, assault and different fees. Lopes has pleaded not responsible.
Jurors acquired the case on Wednesday, and continued to deliberate on Thursday.
