At the same time, a large number of farmers are stuck in crisis. Paddy procurement centers are started in the district through Marketing Federation and Tribal Development Corporation, but no arrangement is made at these centers to face the unseasonal rains. Paddy has been kept in the open at the centers for several days.
Due to lack of planning, paddy is not being counted for many days. Due to which the paddy is getting wet. Four days ago, the rain that fell on the ground from the sack has sprouted in the paddy. There is intense discontent among the farmers seeing the paddy produced with great effort getting spoiled. The arrival of fine paddy including coarse paddy has increased at government centers. In such a situation, sacks are being kept at that place due to not getting a proper and flat place to keep the paddy.
Sometimes there is a lack of gunny bags and sometimes due to natural reasons, due to the closure of the center, there is a delay in the purchase of paddy. For 15 days, farmers have been lying in the open without buying paddy. Tadpatri is not given to cover the sack. Due to which the condition of the farmers is miserable. The demand that farmers should be given justice by immediate purchase of paddy at procurement centers is gaining momentum.
