The investigation of the case that came to the fore in Hinganghat has now been handed over to the Economic Offenses Wing police, the accused involved in the case are currently being told imprisoned in Nagpur jail.
It is to be known that in the small vani of businessman Uday Vijaysinh Mohta (37), resident of Jain temple ward of Hinganghat, there is a company named SMS in this company since 2019, during this time in 2017 a phone call from Ankola Ashok Mohd, resident of Uday’s Akola. But the accused, Ankur Mohad, was identified and told Mohta about getting the government tender for the medicine on the papers of Swami Pharma Surgical Company.
In the year 2017 itself, a complaint was lodged in the police station.
After reaching Vani, he met the businessman, during this time he took Mohta into confidence by showing the tender reference NHLEDLCL medicine company located in Dhule. A total of 44 lakh 9 thousand 428 rupees including cash was siphoned off, after the fraud came to light, the businessman contacted Ankur, he adopted a evasive role, in this case, a complaint was lodged in the police station in 2017 itself.
Case registered after 4 years of investigation
After about 4 years of investigation, a case was registered against Ankur Mohod at Hinganghat police station. The chargesheet of the case registered in the mine police station has also been told that at present the accused is imprisoned in Nagpur Jail, further investigation in the case is being done by PSI Vivek Lonkar and team under the guidance of Police Inspector Kanchan Pandey of Economic Offenses Wing.
