Giving information, ANI has told that the Election Commission of India will announce the schedule for the assembly elections of Goa, Punjab, Manipur, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh today at 3.30 pm. Let us tell you that in many areas of the country, assembly elections are to be held this year.

Earlier in December, the Election Commission had held a press conference and told that all the parties have demanded from them to conduct the assembly elections on time. In the press conference of the Election Commission held in Lucknow, Sushil Chandra had also told everyone about the suggestions that the Commission had received from political parties.
