Ambernath: The BJP Yuva Morcha has discussed the subject of changes made by the current ruling Maha Vikas Aghadi government of the state to approve the University Law Reform Bill in the winter session. Gambhir, playing with the future of the students and terming this bill as a black bill, said that the autonomy of the university will end with the new rules.
On the said issue, Vinay Verma, Head of Student Department, BJP State Yuva Morcha, while talking to local journalists, said the same thing. He further said that due to this new bill, now there will be political interference in the university which was not there before. Giving more details in the context of the new bill, he said that vice-chancellors were appointed on the basis of merit, but now the state government will appoint vice-chancellors, so that now the person belonging to political parties will be the vice-chancellor.

Whereas till now the Vice Chancellor used to take all important academic and administrative decisions of the university, but due to the new bill, these powers will be under the state’s Higher and Tantra Education Minister, which Verma alleges will increase ‘recovery’. Vinay Verma, a member of the Yuva Morcha’s state executive, says that in the new bill, the university administration used to have the right to do any work related to the university, now it will also change. In future, getting contracts to ineligible companies and giving all contracts to political activists will adversely affect the quality of education. Yuva Morcha State Officer Vinay Verma said that we condemn this black bill in the field of education in Maharashtra and are opposing it at the state level under the guidance of Yuva Morcha State President Vikrant Patil.
