Lucknow: In view of the cases of Omicron in the country, special vigilance is being taken by issuing an alert in Uttar Pradesh. Monitoring committees have played an important role in the most populous UP. In such a situation, to prevent this new variant of Corona, the Yogi government has assigned important responsibility to the surveillance teams. Under the micro plan, instructions have been given to increase door-to-door screening. CM Yogi Adityanath has instructed the top officials to activate these monitoring committees.
The state government is making all possible efforts at the ground level to curb the corona as well as to ensure all necessary arrangements for the prevention of new variants. Due to which a state-wide surveillance program is being done in the state.

CM gave orders to take special vigilance
The CM has ordered the officers to take special vigil in the state. Please inform that these monitoring committees are regularly doing door-to-door screening for corona infection as well as dengue, cholera, diarrhea, malaria. This massive state-wide surveillance campaign is being carried out at a fast pace. Along with this, in this campaign, patients of fever and other symptoms of infection are also being identified on priority basis in the state. In this surveillance programme, door-to-door visits are being made to identify people suffering from fever and having symptoms of COVID.
Special arrangements made in hospitals
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given instructions to the officers and all the concerned departments to take care of the medical facilities and cleanliness. Special arrangements have been made in all the hospitals for the treatment of sick people. CM has given instructions to continuously monitor the health of every patient while improving the surveillance. Extensive sanitation, sanitization and fogging work is also being done for rescue in the state.
