Ranchi : The meeting of Higher and Technical Education Department organized by Chief Minister Hemant Soren in Jharkhand Ministry concluded today. Said that since the formation of the government, bringing qualitative improvement in the education system of the state has been the priority of the state government.
The state government is working with commitment to provide quality higher and technical education and skill development to the students studying in established universities in the state. The action plan is being prepared with the thought of the state government that every educated and trained youth of Jharkhand should get assured employment opportunities. Kaushal Vidya Entrepreneurship Digital Skill University will soon be established in the state.
Emphasis on development of employable education system
Hemant Soren said that constant consultations are being held with the founders of various universities for the development of employable education system in the state. He said that industrial and commercial activities as well as local requirements should be studied for the subjects on which the youth should be trained in skill development, so that educated and trained youth can be connected with employment immediately. In the meeting, detailed information about the educational structure of Kaushal Vidya Entrepreneurship Digital Skill University was presented to the Chief Minister through a presentation.
8 polytechnic institutes will be connected with this skill university first
While directing to include Civil Aviation Course in the courses, the Chief Minister said that 8 newly constructed polytechnic institutes in the state would first be connected with this skill university. Prejha Foundation will play an important role in this work. State Chief Secretary Sukhdev Singh, Additional Chief Secretary-cum-Principal Secretary of Higher and Technical Education Department K.K. Khandelwal, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Rajiv Arun Ekka, Secretary to Chief Minister Vinay Kumar Choubey, CEO of Prejha Foundation, Kalyan Chakraborty, Chief Project Officer Meenakshi Kumar, team members Chittaranjan and Shipra, Arka Jain University Vice Chancellor Dr. S.S. Rajji, Director Dr. Amit Srivastava and Registrar Dr. Jasbir Dhanjal and others were present.
