On December 17, the Election Commission announced the conduct of elections in the postponed places.
Voting was held in the first phase on December 21, after a severe cold in this election, more than the percentage of voter turnout indicated how conscious the people of the district are about this election. Since the second phase of voting is to be held on January 18 and the result will be declared on January 19, so the claims of victory and defeat will be made till January 18. NCP-Congress-Shiv Sena and BJP or independents will each claim their victory. Somewhere conditions will be imposed, somewhere there will be speculation.
In which seat, who has the upper hand, whose victory is necessary and whose defeat is necessary. Before the start of the election battle, many scenes of trying hard to get the ticket were seen in front of the eyes. The results of the Zilla Parishad elections have become like a candidate appearing in an examination. If there is any examination in the school, then one has to wait for two months for its result. The candidates who have entered the election battle of Zilla Parishad, Panchayat Samiti or Municipal Council have been tested, but the magnitude is yet to be revealed.
These days in the village chaupals, squares, various public places, there is a discussion about who will get the maximum number of seats in these elections. The Congress candidates are claiming their victory, while the BJP candidates are telling themselves at the forefront. The most important thing to tell is that they are claiming their respective victory regarding the election results. No one is getting defeated in this calculative math of victory. Everyone is winning. That is, everyone is winning in the election battle.
The party, candidates and workers are all just claiming victory. As for speculations, do they just provide satisfaction? The real truth will come out on January 19, on that day it will be known that for whom the results of the Zilla Parishad elections proved to be as joyful as Poonam’s moon and for whom these elections have proved to be the night of Amavas.
