It is worth mentioning that Bhiwandi Deputy Commissioner of Police Yogesh Chavan told in a press conference that there was a huge increase in crimes during the lockdown period of the global pandemic Corona, but the hardworking police team has managed to settle 95% of the cases and hand them over to the law. In 2021, out of 22 murder offenses, 12 cases have been resolved. There was an increase in 25 incidents of house breaking to 147 and vehicle thefts from 64 incidents to 462. 64 theft incidents increased to 562. Out of 77 crimes of robbery in Bhiwandi circle, 49 offenses were resolved. In 25 incidents of chain snatching, 7 crimes have been solved by the police. Police have been able to solve 50% of cases in 34 during the day and 113 in the night.

462 vehicle theft cases registered
In the entire year of 2021, 462 vehicle theft cases were registered. In which 360 two wheelers, 79 small vehicles and 24 other vehicles are included. 145 stolen vehicles were traced and 317 vehicles are being traced. 53 minor girls are involved in 83 cases of Vinaybhanga. In 150 incidents of abduction, 48 children and 112 adult girls and 17 minor girls are involved. Police have been successful in unearthing most of the cases of police team Vinaybhanga, kidnapping. 30 offenses settled
