Apart from this, major decisions have been taken in the meeting of DDMA held on Friday amid the decrease in the cases of COVID-19. The DDMA has decided to reopen higher educational institutions and coaching centers as well as schools for classes IX to XII in the national capital from February 7.
However, DDMA decided that night curfew will continue in Delhi. Now night curfew timings will start from 11 pm instead of 10 pm. Officials said that gyms have also been allowed to reopen with certain conditions.

Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia said that night curfew will start from 11 pm from now onwards and all restaurants will now remain open till 11 pm. All government and private offices will now run with 100% attendance. Gyms, spas and swimming pools have also been allowed to open.
He further said that many important decisions have been taken in the DDMA meeting such as schools for class 9th-12th will be opened in Delhi from February 7, but online classes will also continue. Schools from Nursery to 8th will be opened from February 14. At the same time, colleges and coaching institutes will also open from this February 7.
In another important decision, the DDMA has exempted drivers who will be alone in a car from wearing masks and has given its approval for resumption of offices with 100 per cent attendance, officials said. Officials said that these decisions were taken on the basis of the advice of experts amid the continuous decrease in the infection rate of COVID-19 and the number of cases.
Officials said that higher educational institutions and coaching institutes will be allowed to open with the conditions of strict adherence to SOP and COVID guidelines. He said that the teachers who have not been vaccinated will not be allowed to attend the class. Officials said that during the meeting chaired by Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal, emphasis was laid on increasing the vaccination of people in the age group of 15-18 years.
