Death of 1 thousand chickens, Negligence , Livestock Extension Officer, demand, action, , guilty after inquiry
pombhurnaTo raise the lives of the farmers of the rural areas of the Tehsil and to make them stand on their own feet, the government has implemented various schemes. One of these schemes is rooster rearing. Through this, 17 citizens of the tehsil have been approved as a group of chickens. Out of these, only 7 beneficiaries got the benefit of the scheme. The incident of the death of 1000 children of chickens to be given to the remaining 10 beneficiaries created a ruckus. Due to the negligence of the livestock extension officers, this matter has come to the fore. Therefore, after investigating this incident, a demand has come to the fore to take action against the guilty.
Various schemes are being run for the farmers of the tehsil, in which bullock carts, farming equipment, milch animals, group of goats, group of rooster children etc. are being run by the government. In such a situation, the Satra people of Pombhurna tehsil were approved by the group of children of chickens. In this, a group of 100 children will be distributed to one of the beneficiaries.
A total of 17 beneficiaries were selected under the scheme. Out of them, 7 beneficiaries of Devada Khurd, Futana, Navegaon More, Chek Navegaon and Ghanoti Tukum villages got the benefit of this scheme. So ten beneficiaries were deprived of this scheme. The death of 1 thousand chickens that went for the remaining 10 beneficiaries has come to light.
When will the remaining beneficiaries get the benefit?
The Integrated Rooster Development Program is implemented under the District Annual Plan through the Zilla Parishad. These include Giriraj, Vanraj, Suvarnadhara, Kadaknath, Carigold, R.R. Block chickens are locally similar to village chickens. They have a huge demand for the production of meat and eggs. For this, a scheme is run for the distribution of one day chickens under the Integrated Rooster Development Program.
Beneficiaries below the poverty line, landless agricultural labourers, women and disabled persons are benefitted by this scheme. All these beneficiaries will get relief from this scheme. Due to the death of one thousand chicken chicks to be distributed to 10 beneficiaries out of the selected seventeen beneficiaries, ten beneficiaries will no longer get the benefit of this scheme. The question is being raised as to who is responsible for the death of one thousand chicken chicks received by ten beneficiaries.
