- financial trouble
Washim. The wheels of Lalpari have stopped since last month due to the ST employees starting a strike for merger, the biggest impact of this is on the students along with the passengers. Due to the shutdown of ST buses, autos and private passenger vehicles are being crammed with passengers, thus creating a possibility of an accident.
Employees’ strike has started in Washim depot for the last 40 days demanding merger of ST employees with the state government, the government has solved the problem of salaries of the employees. But still the employees are sticking to the demand of merger, due to which Lalpari is not going out of the depot. After Corona, schools have started in urban parts and in rural parts, since last one and a half year, students living at home have been very excited to go to school.
But due to the closure of ST buses, the students of rural parts have to resort to private vehicles to go, in this their time and financial loss is also being done. Passenger transport people are also charging the rate arbitrarily, due to the closure of ST, students have to come to school with their lives in their palms, due to which their parents are getting worried.
financial loss to senior citizens
Due to the special facility of less ticket to senior citizens and handicapped also in ST bus and now ST buses are closed, there has been a situation of giving full ticket to normal senior citizens and handicapped for travel, due to which they have become financially troubled.
ST employee’s strike continues
The ST Mahamandal had clarified to withdraw the suspension after appearing for work till Monday, but the striking workers on the merger did not retract their strike, due to which not a single ST bus could run from the four depots of Washim district on Monday. Suspension action was taken against 168 employees of Washim district for not being present for work even after repeated calls.
The ST employees had also given an assurance of reversing the suspension action if they appeared for work by Monday, December 13. But even after this ST employees did not appear for work, out of these there are four depots in the district, 276 employees in Washim depot, 206 employees in Karanja, 232 employees in Risod, 205 employees in Mangrulpeer How to solve this problem now Will it leave and when will the buses start. Everyone’s attention is focused on this.
