- Kudegaon incident
Lakhandur, After watching the Pro Kabaddi competition with a friend, when the son returned home late in the night, the father went to the house of another friend and scolded casteist, there was an incident of murderous attack with a knife. The incident of critically injured friend of the victim in this attack took place on January 17 at 4 am in Kudegaon of Tehsil.
However, on the complaint of Kudegaon resident Akash Gulab Lonare (30), Lakhandur Police has registered a case against Kudegaon resident accused Madhukar Dina Kahare (55) under the Atrocity Act, including murder.
According to police sources, the youth injured in the incident and the son of the accused person had gone to see the Pro Kabaddi competition in Asola village of Tehsil during the night on 16 January. However, when the competition ended at 3 o’clock in the night, both the youths reached the village together and went to their respective homes.
During this, the accused of the incident took his own son out of the house till late night to watch the kabaddi competition and reached the victim friend’s house angry at the friend. During this, the accused disputed by abusing his family members including the injured youth of the incident.
The accused, who was enraged in this dispute, escaped from the spot after attacking the youth on the stomach with a knife. However, the youth injured in a fatal attack on the stomach with a knife was immediately admitted to the rural hospital in Lakhandur for treatment.
But due to the condition of the injured youth being more serious in the attack, he has been sent to the district hospital for further treatment. Meanwhile, on the basis of the health test report and on the basis of the complaint of the youth injured in the attack, a case has been registered against the accused against the accused, including murderous assault and other sections, including the Atrocity Act.
During this, Pavani’s Sub-Divisional Police Officer Rina Janbandhu, Police Sub-Inspector Sandeep Taram, Police Naik Duryodhan Wakekar, Dilip Bhoyar, Ravindra Madavi, Police Amaldar Manish Chavan, Anil Rathod and other police personnel reached the spot and arrested the accused by performing Panchnama. Further investigation of this matter is being done by the sub-divisional police officer of Pawani, Rina Janbandhu.
